  • Drain the juice out of the pineapple. Set both aside.
  • Boil two cups of water. Dissolve the Jello powder into two cups of boiling water. Stir!
  • Add the juice from the pineapple to your hot Jello water. Also add in a cup of cool water.
  • Put the Jello into the refrigerator for about three hours. You will want to take it out of the fridge when the Jello is sticking to the sides of the pan. While the mixture is cooling in the refrigerator, you will want to crush your nuts. I put mine into a food processor. If you do not have one you could put them into a bag and smash them with a rolling pin. You do not need them to be dust but rather small chunks. This gives the Jello an unexpected crunch!
  • Add in the cool whip, nuts, and crushed pineapple. Stir this really well.
  • Put it back into the fridge for another 2-3 hours. It should look just like Jello when it is done. This can be used as a side dish or as a dessert! It is low fat and really yummy!
  • ENJOY!!!
