Healthy, Quick, & Tasty Cod

This is such a healthy, quick, and really easy way to get fish into your diet! Doctor's recommend eating fish at least two times a week! There are so many benefits to consuming cod: lowers your risk of heart disease, reduces cholesterol with its supply of omega-3s fatty acids, is low in mercury, improves brain function, rich in Vitamin B12, is a good source of low-fat protein, and its iodine content helps support thyroid function!

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tbsp lemon
  • 1.5 tbsp 21 Salute (ANY salt-free seasoning would work nicely.)
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Put cod into an oven safe dish. Pat the cod with a paper towel to dry the fish from any water on it. This will help the seasoning stick to the cod better.
  3. Generously sprinkle cod with your seasoning.
  4. Pour water into pan around cod. (do not pour water on the cod)
  5. Add 2-3 tablespoons of lemon into your water.
  6. Cook in the oven until it falls apart easily. You should be able to put a fork into it, and it just falls apart. This is from 12-15 minutes.
  7. That is, it! ENJOY!!! This is such a tasty dish that you can make with such ease!
