(6-7 medium apples)

loosely packed light brown sugar
(If you substitute dark use half a cup)

instant oats

flour
(Gluten or Gluten free flour will work.)

butter

Instructions

PREHEAT OVEN TO 350! Peel and core your apples! Once the apple is prepped you will want to cut the apple into small slices.

Once the apples are in small slices, you will want to put them into a pan.

Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon ontop of the apples and set aside!

In a separate bowl, you'll add the rest of the dry ingredients and mix well. then add the butter. You will have a mixture of damp looking dough.

Put the soft dough mixture on top of the apples. Pat down slightly so its pushed into the apples below it.

BAKE for 30-45 minutes! Until the top is golden brown and the juice from the apples needs to dry up slightly. You want the apples to be mushy and the crust to be soft but still crunchy.
